The Kentucky Flintlock Rifle is a true American Classic Weapon. Originally designed and built in Pennsylvania in the late 1700's, and are Beautifully crafted rifles that were popular from the Revolutionary War to well into the 19th century. As they began calling Long Rifles Long Rifles or Long Guns the Kentucky Flintlock Long Rifle played an integral role in the early western expansion and is most often associated with Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett being the weapon of choice of those historic heroes. The Kentucky rifle was one of the first to feature a "rifled" bore which made it extremely accurate for its time.
