This Peacemaker cap gun features with wood grips has working single action and shell ejector like the real thing. To fire just pull the hammer back and pull the trigger. Please note this is a historically correct single action revolver so the hammer needs to be pulled back manually each time to move the cylinder and cock the hammer. It will not move to the next round by just pulling the trigger. That is the way single actions work. Cocking and revolving the cylinder by pulling the trigger was invented later and was then called a double action revolver. It has authentic working mechanism.
